Rahayu Maulandari
President Director​
Ayu was born in Jakarta, holds a degree in economics and is currently the President Director of PT Mitra Asia Lestari. Her previous role in the Australian Embassy to Indonesia as Administration and Visit Officer was focused on leading administrative tasks and coordinating with departments at all levels of both the Australian and Indonesian Governments to ensure effective communication was achieved between both. She has also worked for humanitarian programs coordinating effective project delivery in Indonesia and is now focused on agribusiness between Indonesia and Australia.
Dr. John Ackerman
Founder
John has been in Indonesia for over 15 years in roles such as Head of the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF) in the Australian Embassy to Indonesia and Regional Manager for Meat and Livestock Australia (MLA). His focus during this time has been on reducing illegal fishing, minimizing trade barriers, improving animal welfare, managing smallholder farmer development programs and promoting Australian capabilities. He has a background in biology and ecology, obtaining his PhD in 2004 from James Cook University, was a member of the Indonesia Australia Partnership on Food Security in the Red Meat and Cattle Sector and currently sits on the Board of the Indonesia Australia Business Council as the Deputy Secretary General. He is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of New England, Australia.
